Never Let Me Go...Personally I don't get this title

How often do you read a book and you just can't figure out how the title fits with the book? I just finished a book about a month ago called Violets Are Blue by James Patterson. Quick review....2.5 outta 5 stars. A "If you have too much time on your hands" read. The point is, the book had nothing to do with flowers. I think it mentions the title, in a sentence, once. The book was basically about these phsyco killers who think they are vampires and a detective who is trying to catch them. If standing at the airport, looking for a book, I would have thought it was a romantic novel.
Back to Never Let Me Go. If you have read it then you may agree, the title makes no sense. What about something more reflective of the book like....The Hilisham Children or Not Always As it Seems. I'm not the most clever person in the world but, seriously, I think either of those would be better than Never Let Me Go. That makes me think it is some sort of a tragic love story. The book might be tragic (Sara would say that reading this book is tragic) and it might have love but tragic love....I don't think so.
So, here is my silly game for our next meeting (time, place and date to come) come up with a new title for this book. We wont' vote or decide whose is better but it will give each of us an inkling to what you gleaned from reading the book.
